With the increasing cases of assassinations of male and female activists, thinkers, and political analysts known for their patriotism and high professionalism, and the latest of these cases is the assassination of the doctor and activist in Basra Governorate, "Reham Yaqoub." While the General Secretariat of the Daae Party condemns and strongly denounces these crimes, it blames the local government in the province, headed by the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, as president The Security Committee is responsible for the crimes that occurred, as well as the responsibility for the security and safety of the citizens and activists of the province in particular. It also bears responsibility for the security services of the Ministries of Defense and Interior for their apparent failure to carry out their duties to protect citizens, as well as their failure to arrest the perpetrators despite their continuation of the series of systematic assassinations of dozens of activists and citizens. The recent increasing cases of assassinations against male and female activists indicate the existence of a terrorist plot of another kind that aims to strike at the emerging national will and threaten democracy and pluralism in the country as well as to put pressure on the current government, destabilize it and drag it into submission to suspicious external and internal dictates and agendas. Therefore, we categorically reject that the state continues With this weakness, and for weapons to remain in the hands of all armed groups and some clans outside the original tribal norms, we call on the Iraqi government to send the anti terrorism apparatus to handle the security file in Basra Governorate due to the importance of this province and to refer security leaders and officers in the stricken provinces with its youth who demand their rights and peaceful citizens To the investigation for their failure to perform their duties, and to publish the results of the investigation and in full transparency to the public opinion.
