It is painful for the scene of killing and destruction to return once again, as happened today with a double suicide bombing in the capital, Baghdad, specifically the aviation square, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of dozens of innocent people. As we deplore and denounce such actions, which only reflect ignorance and hatred of enemies, we point out the necessity of activating intelligence operations and holding negligent personnel accountable. Security and stand against anyone who adopts such criminal acts in terms of method and thought without hesitation in reaching their roots and causes, especially since the political and economic situation in the country is going through a critical and thorny phase as our people look forward to holding new parliamentary elections. Therefore, we must expect that the influential sectarian political parties that have been exposed by public awareness will work to create a suitable climate for them by restoring the policy of sectarian pressure and support for terrorist groups. Therefore, such an event must not go unnoticed without investigating the perpetrator and the reasons for the action in order to uproot the roots of the sedition before we find new branches and new promoters who are able to repeat it. O sons of our oppressed Iraqi people, the enemy is lurking in the country and wants to restore its power and hegemony through terrorism and other things. You have no choice but awareness and insistence on national identity and rejection of foreign agendas. Mercy and forgiveness for the nation’s martyrs and a speedy recovery for the wounded.
