The Secretary-General of Al-Daae Party, Saad Jassim Nasser Al-Tamimi, strongly condemns the recent criminal incidents in the Syrian coastal regions, particularly those involving the killing and terrorising of civilians driven by racial and sectarian motives. Al-Tamimi urges the Syrian people, political entities, and authorities to resist being drawn into external conspiracies aimed at fueling division and conflict. He stresses the importance of safeguarding Syria from the devastation of sectarian strife, which could lead to widespread destruction and suffering. Furthermore, he calls on all parties to reflect on the experiences of neighbouring countries, where systematic killings and mass displacements have been orchestrated with the support of politically motivated sectarian and religious factions. In light of these grave developments, Al-Tamimi calls upon the Secretary-General of the United Nations to launch a comprehensive investigation into the violent incidents occurring in Syria’s coastal cities. He emphasises the need for an urgent, UN-supervised inquiry to halt further bloodshed and ensure that those responsible for these crimes are held accountable under international law.
