Saad Jasim Al-Timimi, Secretary-General of AlDaae Party, commented on the Sudanese government’s statement regarding the barter agreement between the framework government and Iran, which includes the exchange of oil for gas, as being agreed upon and orchestrated, as it is inconceivable for two countries to reach a barter agreement and sign it according to official records of this importance In just two days !!

Al-Timimi wondered, saying: When was the agreement studied from a technical and legal point of view, as well as how will it start sending quantities of oil to Iran so quickly? What are the terms of the agreement? And what did the Iraqi government sign ?

He added, "Do the parliamentarians dare to summon the government and ask it about the terms of the agreement ?"

Al-Timimi indicated that it is normal for agreements concluded between countries to take months through diplomatic channels and to study the issue in all respects, which requires at least three to six months for the agreement to mature and reach the stages of signing and exchanging records, pointing out that this indicates that the crisis Electricity and gas supplies were cut off in the past days, a fabricated and orchestrated issue, the aim of which is political and related to Iranian political goals.

Al-Timimi explained that the government announced at the beginning of the summer that it had paid the debts owed by Iraq from gas purchases, wondering: Was the government unaware that the US dollar was prohibited from reaching and flowing into Iran ?? Or does it attribute its failure to external causes and international conspiracies?

Al-Timimi concluded his speech, that the absence of a national vision and the sectarian dependence of most politicians have made Iraq and its people under the brunt of all kinds of afflictions and torments.
